It is vital that any disclosures and suspicions of abuse of children are reported as soon as practicable.
All disclosures or suspicions of child sexual abuse must be reported to the police immediately. To report such a disclosure/suspicion, contact Policelink on 131 444. If it’s an emergency, phone Triple Zero (000).
If you are a PCQ employee or volunteer, please report all disclosures and suspicions of abuse of children through the online PCQ Child Safety Report. To access this report you will need the password from your local Ministry Coordinator or Minister. You can also phone one of the PresSafe Officers to request the password.
The PCQ Child Safety Risk Management Officer will then make reports to Police and/or Child Safety Service and liaise with those authorities, as appropriate.
If you are not a PCQ employee or volunteer, please report all disclosures and suspicions of abuse of children directly to the Queensland Police (131 444) or Child Safety Services.
